Your tour begins with a comfortable, air conditioned, scenic bus ride to nation’s newest tourism area, the pristine island of Baru, Cartagena. After just over an hour, you’ll arrive at Colombia’s National Aviary – one of the finest and most respected in the world, for its sheer diversity of species.

The Aviary is divided into habitat sections… tropical, coastline and mangroves, desert and Andean mountains. You’ll be able to photograph a breathtaking array of birds, including Macaws, Harpy Eagles, Tangaras, cormorants, pelicans, herons, storks, owls and even the mighty Andean Condor.You’ll be surrounded by abundant woodland, waterfalls and swaying palm trees.
