Explore the kaleidoscopic subaquatic world off the coast of Curaçao in a comfortable, air-conditioned semi-submarine.
Board the Seaworld Explorer, which was originally built for conducting research on the Great Barrier Reef, and descend to the observatory, five feet beneath the surface of the crystal-clear Caribbean Sea. As you cruise around in the water, various species of tropical fish will swim right up to the sub’s huge windows to eat the food provided by a diver who swims alongside the vessel. Keep your eyes peeled for dazzling yellowtail snapper, sergeant majors, parrotfish and queen angelfish.
On this intriguing experience, you’ll also hear all about the vibrant coral reef to the south of the island as you admire its mesmerising colours. And you’ll have the chance to marvel at the ocean wall, which drops off from a shallow depth to several hundred feet.
