Hop aboard the open-sided trolley train and trundle around the bustling capital of Curaçao. Admire the waterside colonial buildings painted in various vibrant pastel shades and hear stories about famous landmarks as you pass them by.
Feel the city buzzing around you as you weave through the streets and hop off the train to gaze up at the imposing 19th-century Pietermaai Cathedral. If there’s no service in progress, why not step inside to marvel at the beautiful, brilliant-white interior and its collection of intricate statues?
At Fort Amsterdam, you’ll have the opportunity to take a quick look inside the 17th-century complex built by the Dutch to protect the harbour. Here, you can choose to be driven back to your ship or stay in town and explore further on your own.

It is important to note that the duration of the trolley train ride is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes, subject to local traffic conditions. The remainder of the tour duration allows for the transfer time between the ship and town and vice versa, and the possibility of heavy traffic. In the event of less traffic or the ship berthing nearer to Willemstad, less transfer time may be required. All timings are approximate. Guests must negotiate the step onto and off the Trolley Train and also negotiate getting in and out of the taxi vans. Please note that the Cathedral may not be accessible during services. Modest dress is recommended to enter the Cathedral.
