Heading inland gives you a real sense of island life. Catch sight of fertile plantations, venture through lush valleys and take in the magnificent mountains, covered in tropical rainforest. Jaco Falls looks like a magical hanging garden of ferns and plants, framing a cascade of tumbling water. Enjoy the falls from the viewing platform or climb down to the pretty pool below. Essential information
The short walk at the Botanical Gardens is optional and is over relatively flat ground. There is a short flat walk to reach the waterfall viewpoint. Guests who choose to take the optional walk down to the waterfall pool, must negotiate approximately 60 steps. Flat, comfortable non-slip shoes are recommended.
