Soak up the island scenery on your ride to Habitation Clément, an architectural heritage site nestled in a stunning natural location. A rum specialist will take you through the spectacular garden, which covers 40 acres and holds a collection of over 300 tropical plants, plus an open-air sculpture garden. You’ll be welcomed to the distillery’s private ageing cellars, (closed to the general public) where over two million litres of rum are stored! Here your rum specialist will reveal the secrets of the rum ageing process and you’ll have the opportunity to taste the fine nectar directly from the barrels. Continue to the famous Colonial House, where in a private room you’ll learn about the unique fragrances of different rum’s, allowing you to differentiate between brands. A highlight of your experience will be the opportunity to sample several aged rums, paired with food perfectly suited to each one.
