Your captain will share stories about Martinique as your catamaran glides through the azure Caribbean Sea. On your way to St Pierre, keep an eye out for the friendly dolphins that often playfully ‘race’ boats.
Spend some free time strolling around the town once known as the Paris of the Caribbean, perhaps visiting the bustling market or some of the ruins left by the devastating 1902 eruption of Mt Pelée, which looms above.
Head along the coast to Carbet, where you can hop across to the toasty black sand and warm water of the local beach. Take a dip, have a stroll or simply relax for a while before enjoying a delicious creole lunch back on board.
At Anse Bellemare, a stunning white-sand bay, you’ll have the perfect opportunity for swimming in the shallows and see what kinds of marine life you can find on the colourful coral reef here.
