Ægir Brewery

At the pier you’ll meet Evan, the owner of Ægir Brewery, and join him for a short stroll through Flåm town towards Ægir Brewery. Enjoy a captivating tour of the brewery, which was named after the sea ruler Ægir from Norse mythology. Then visit the Ægir Brewery Pub, a Viking inspired building with an open fireplace, dragon-style ornaments and a stave-church roof. There you’ll savour a Viking plank – a five-course lunch perfectly paired with five different beers from the brewery. The menus are also steeped in Viking lore, boasting local ingredients used in the Viking Age, but flavoured for today's palate.
