Leaving Flåm behind, your panoramic drive heads through the mountains, passing the village of Gudvangen at the head of the beautiful Nærøyfjord and skirting along the bank of the Nærøy salmon river.
Admire shimmering Oppheim Lake on your way to visit the spectacular Tvinde Waterfall. Watch the white waters dancing down the stepped rocks of the mountainside and if you want a different perspective, walk up the nature trail to the higher viewpoint.
Sit down for refreshments of coffee and a Danish pastry at the Stalheim Hotel, which is perched on a cliff overlooking the Nærøy Valley.
