Relax as you’re driven to several of the most beautiful spots on Madeira during this specially designed accessible experience.
Sit back and let the sights come to you. Pass through the centre of the capital, Funchal, before the steep climb begins, up the winding road that reveals stunning views of the harbour. Your guide will point out intriguing landmarks as you head through the historic village of Monte, perched high in the hills.
Eucalyptus and mimosa trees line the side of the road on the way to Terreiro da Luta, the lofty monument that commemorates the end of World War I and sits at the summit of the old cog railway.
From Poiso Pass, you’ll be treated to awe-inspiring mountain views and you might even spot the summit of the colossal Pico do Arieiro. Passing through the charming village of Santo António da Serra before you pause for a refreshing hot drink and a piece of cake at the town of Machico before you drive on towards and along the coast to your ship

Guests are advised when booking this experience 1 adult ticket will include 1 wheelchair accessible place and 1 companion seat. The coach can only accommodate manual and electric wheelchairs with a maximum weight of 180kg (guest and wheelchair combined), maximum length of 1200mm and a maximum width of 700mm. For guests own health and safety, regrettably mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on accessible vehicles. This tour involves travelling around hairpin bends with steep slopes, which may affect those who suffer from vertigo. There is minimal walking involved and the views can be enjoyed from the coach. Due to Madeira's micro-climate, it's recommended to wear a cardigan or a jacket.
