Stroll along the wooden promenade for some fresh air or wander through the dunes at your leisure. Explore the remains of a pre–Roman fortress at the northern edge, where jewels and Celtic artefacts have been discovered (1km from the drop-off point). Or maybe check out the castle ruins from the beach where the remains of coastal artillery installed by the navy date back to 1800.
