Experience Details*

Soak up the spectacular scenery and sample some delicious tapas on this tour of Galicia's high estuaries. The northwest corner of Spain is characterised by its rías, a series of fjord-like estuaries along the coastline. Visit the charming village of Pontedeume, founded in 1270 and home to the 14th-century Tower of Andrade. Admire panoramic views over the Betanzos estuary en route to Bergondo, where you’ll enjoy a selection of Galician tapas and wine. Then it's on through beautiful Sada, a typical fishing village, towards the Porto de Santa Cruz, with its island castle built in the 16th century.

Essential information

This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. This tour involves a minimal amount of optional walking. There are some steps to negotiate at the Tower of Andrade and approximately 4 steps at the restaurant.
