Immerse yourself in Guernsey’s great outdoors on this active, but gentle, island exploration.
After a full safety briefing you’ll don your helmet, hop on your bike and set off from the peaceful west coast bay of Perelle. Following your local guide, you’ll cycle through the folkloric headland of Le Catioroc, passing ancient burial chambers such as the Trepied Dolmen.
Cruise through picturesque nature reserves before reaching the sweeping sandy beach of L’Eree bay – a favourite of the locals. Stopping nearby, you can take a close look at the ominous bunkers remaining from the German occupation in WWII.
Your ride takes in views of the lonely Hanois Lighthouse and the squatted Fort Grey (AKA the ‘Cup and Saucer’) before you stop for a break when you can buy refreshments. Head inland through the quiet lanes of the Ruette tranquilles and back to Perelle to drop off your bike.
