After a short drive through lush landscapes, you’ll be dropped off in the heart of the Roman city of Gijón. There’s endless things to see, do, taste and enjoy in the city by the sea but how will you spend the 2 hours you have here? It’s completely up to you, but you can relax in the knowledge that your transfers for the day are all in hand. Stroll along San Lorenzo Beach, around the former fishermen’s quarter of Cimadevilla or capture the panoramic views from the Eulogy of the Horizon monument.
Hop back on the coach and head to characterful city of Oviedo. The compact capital of the region means that you can explore the whole city on foot. Discover the beautiful Cathedral and its Holy Chamber, the colourful fresh produce at Fontán Market or the Fine Arts and Archaeological Museums to name a few places. And for those wishing to savour the local gastronomy, don’t miss a visit to the ‘Cider Boulevard’ (nickname given to Gascona Street), lined with restaurants and cider taverns.

They will also specify the meeting times for the onward transfers. Please be aware that modest dress is required for inside the Cathedral of Oviedo.
