Sit back and enjoy the views as you travel along the beautiful south coast to the much-loved resort of Sainte-Anne. Stop off for a quick walk on the promenade or possibly browse for souvenirs at the colourful market, where friendly vendors sell local handicrafts.

Have your camera at the ready when you reach Pointe des Châteaux, a spectacular peninsula that juts out into the Atlantic Ocean. Snap away at the unusual rock formations which have been formed over time by swirling winds and thunderous waves.

Relax with a soft drink (how about a fruity ‘planters punch’?) at a local venue and drive by the Zevallos colonial estate. In the town of Morne-à-l'Eau, pause to admire the cemetery where chequered black-and-white crypts cascade down the hillside to wonderful effect.
