Lofoten Sea Fishing

Enjoy a short walk from your ship to the fiskeskøyte, a traditional Norwegian wooden boat, where you’ll be welcomed on board by the skipper and crew. This experienced team of locals knows the best fishing spots, and will have planned according to the weather conditions. You’ll receive a safety briefing and tips from the skipper, before heading out to sea. Then, as locals have done for hundreds of years, you’ll endeavour to catch a variety of fish, including cod, pollock and mackerel, using traditional Norwegian fishing equipment. Cruising through the scenic islands you may see sea eagles and other exciting birdlife.
