Board a colorful customized open-air school bus to tour the charming and historical island of Grand Turk from the pier to the furthest northern point of the island. Learn about the industrious salt industry, Lucayan settlers, and much more as you ride past John Glenn’s space capsule, Bermudian architecture, and gorgeous coastline views on the way to the Lighthouse for a short photo stop from the bus. Keep a lookout for our wild donkey and beautiful pink flamingo friends!

Arrive at the Botanical Garden with views of the Atlantic Ocean. Unleash your inner artist. Don’t worry this class is perfect for both the artistic and the not so artistic. This is fun for everyone! You will receive skilled step-by-step instruction to hand paint with acrylic paint your own 8 x 10 canvas. Sign it and take your masterpiece with you so you can display it at home or give it to a loved one.
Walk over with a guide to browse through Grand Turk’s eye-opening exhibits like colorful and majestic coral reefs, the John Glenn space exhibition, the recreation of a Caicos dwelling from the 1800s, the stunning original Fresnel lens of the Lighthouse, and much more. Swing by the museum gift shop full of locally made souvenirs.
Walk down to the Craft Market to find food trucks and many local vendors of delicious local dishes, crafts, and textiles.

Essential information
The minimum age to participate in this tour is 3 years old. This tour is not suitable for guests with back problems, walking difficulties, or standing for extended periods of time. The walking terrains are rough, uneven, gravel, and unpaved surfaces. Art suppliers are included and guests get to take home their hand-painted canvas. Disposable aprons are given but recommend you wear something you don't mind getting paint on and suggest a change of clothes. Wear comfortable walking shoes, and bring a hat, sunscreen, and mosquito repellent as the garden sometimes attracts mosquitoes. No food is provided on this tour, there will be an opportunity to purchase food and drink at the craft market. Some local vendors do not accept credit cards, for guests wanting to make purchases please bring local currency, and a credit card is recommended.
