Pay a sombre visit to the former concentration camp Bergen-Belsen, where Anne Frank and her sister Margot were among more than 50,000 people who died in appalling conditions.
Join a walking tour of the site, which is now a place where people come to respectfully commemorate the lives of those who died during the holocaust. Your expert guide will reveal the shocking stories of the prisoners and their captors as you visit the Obelisk, the Room of Silence, the Inscription Wall and Anne Frank’s symbolic grave.
Spend a little free time reflecting on the poignancy of this place, observe the artefacts in the information centre and perhaps take in some of the emotional audio/visual interviews with camp survivors.

This excursion will operate by coach and on foot. There is approximately 3 hours of walking on this tour, some of which is over uneven ground. There are also steps to negotiate. The journey to Bergen-Belsen takes approximately 1¾ hours each way. Please be advised that the Museum exhibits sensitive material including some graphic images and displays on the atrocities of war. The tour of Bergen-Belsen will either be conducted by your tour guide or a museum guide. Please note that the Cafeteria and refreshment dispenser at the Memorial are managed by a 3rd party and opening hours and availability of refreshments cannot be guaranteed. It is therefore advisable to bring own refreshments to avoid disappointment.
