Hop on high-speed InterCity Express train and speed through the German countryside at 300 km/h to Berlin, for a guided tour of some of the city’s major highlights. You’ll stop for photos of the world-famous Brandenburg Gate and Check Point Charlie, and see remnants of the Berlin Wall, Alexanderplatz Square, Unter-den-Linden Boulevard, Potsdam Square, Victory Column, Bellevue Palace and more. After a pub-style lunch in a typical German restaurant, you’ll have some free time to explore this amazing city on your own and do some shopping in the city centre. Then take the ICE train back to Hamburg.

Please note the train is a public ICE train and is not exclusive to P&O. There are restrooms available on the train free of charge. The journey time to Berlin is approximately 2 hours each way. The guided part of this tour is mostly panoramic, and the amount of walking time is at guests’ discretion during the free time. Please bring local currency with you as not all shops and restaurants accept credit cards. Please note the order of sites may vary.
