Setting off for Senate Square, you’ll find fine 19th-century neo-classical buildings and the impressive Lutheran Cathedral of St Nicholas. Along the way, you’ll see the Uspenski Cathedral and the North Harbour, which is home to the icebreaker fleet.
At the striking Rock Church (Temppeliaukio), you’ll witness this unique creation carved out of solid rock and topped with a copper dome. You’ll also stop to admire the massive, stainless steel Sibelius Monument dedicated to Jean Sibelius. En route you’ll pass the Presidential Palace, Market Square, beautiful Kaivopuisto Park, the Olympic Stadium, the new Opera House, Parliament Building, and much more.
As you cross the bridge to Seurasaari Island you’ll be transported to a tranquil, rural landscape from a bygone era. Enjoy a nature walk on the island and admire some of the 17th century builings which belong to the open air museum. Afterwards, you’ll have some free time to explore this beautiful island independently.

Please note that the Rock Church may close without prior notice. The tour does involve some walking, with gravel walkways at the Sibelius Monument and steps at Senate Square. Due to parking restrictions there will be a 10 minute uphill walk to The Rock Church. The nature walk at Seurasaari Island will be along sand paths. Entrance to the Open Air Museum is not included.
