Enjoy toe-tapping tunes from a local folk rock band, against the spectacular, open-air backdrop of Geirangerfjord.
Take a seat in a natural amphitheatre 300 metres above the glittering waters of the fjord and let the musical talents of Vangsgutane entertain you. Expect a polished performance as this local folk rock band has been gigging for nearly 30 years, playing over 350 concerts to devoted fans.
You’ll hear music from mostly Irish and British bands, including the Pogues, Fairport Convention, Waterboys, Flogging Molly and The Tossers as well as some of Vangsgutane’s original tracks. This six-piece band brings songs to life with fiddle, accordion, flute, bass, mandolin and banjo, creating their trademark sound.
With its unique mountain-side stage, special atmosphere and perfect acoustics, this is a concert you don’t want to miss and an evening you’ll never forget.

Essential information

This excursion will operate by coach.The journey to the concert takes around 5-10 minutes each way, and will be via a shuttle service. The concert is scheduled to start at 20.00 and lasts for approximately 2 hours including a 30 minute interval. The event is not exclusive to P&O Cruises.
