Behold the breathtaking panoramas from the summit of Strandafjell mountain and journey through the stunning surrounding countryside on this scenic experience.
Gaze out at the idyllic, unspoilt landscapes as you drive to Magerholm to take the ferry across the serene fjord to Sykkylven. At Strandafjell, hop on the cable car and admire the views which become more and more beautiful as you ascend to the summit at 3,400 feet above sea level.
Take some time to soak up the vistas over the fjord village of Stranda, the awe-inspiring Storfjord and the jagged mountains. Enjoy a coffee break at the restaurant before you head back down and set off on your scenic drive back to Ålesund – this time via the ferry crossing from Stranda to Liabgyda and along the bank of the picturesque Nordfjord.

Essential information
There is approximately 30 minutes of walking on this tour, as well as some steps to negotiate. Long queues may be experienced at the cable car station, due to the popularity of this attraction. This tour is not suitable for guests who suffer from vertigo. A degree of agility is required when boarding the cable car. In the event of strong winds, the cable car may close at short notice. In this situation, the tour will still go ahead with the remaining tour itinerary and a refund for the cable car entrance only will be applied.
