Soak up the stunning scenery of rugged Magerøya Island and get a feel for its local arts and cultures.
Relax on the drive through colourful Honningsvåg, passing by the airstrip and along the shore of the shimmering Skipsfjord. Stop off at the pretty fishing village of Kamøyvær and visit the Gallery East of the Sun, where a local artist will show you her workshop.
During a photo stop at Tufjorden, admire the beautiful reindeer owned by the local Sami people and if the weather’s clear, gaze out from the plateau 1,000 feet above sea level to the Horn – a cliff formation protruding from the North Cape cliff in the distance.
Call in at the cosy cottage of the North Cape Christmas and Winter House in remote Skarsvåg. Here you can browse for knitwear, textiles and ceramics in the craft shop – after all, you can never be too prepared for Christmas!
