Visit the charming Viking village in Thingeyri, on the shores of stunning Dyrafjordur and take a guided walk through the recreated Viking area built around the ruins of an old Viking ‘Thing’. At the Skalinn Viking Centre you’ll learn all about Viking life, and dress up in authentic Viking clothing while trying out replica Viking weapons, baking Viking bread and toasting with Viking beer. Then admire the breath-taking Dynjandi Waterfall, which consists of seven different waterfalls rising to 100 metres and stretching 60 metres across. Afterwards, try the local fish soup, with bread, at a Thingeyri restaurant.
