Domaine Mercouri is one of Katakolon’s oldest established wineries, and has a rich history in producing both wine and olive oil. Get an authentic taste of country life as you take a tour around the family-run estate. See an intriguing mix of old and new equipment, including the wine cellar and the olive presses, plus vintage agricultural tools in the family museum.
Continuing your journey through the winemaking process, stroll through the charming vineyards and take in magnificent views across the Ionian Sea. It’s an idyllic setting. Appetite whetted, it’s time to savour the local produce, including the estate’s wine, olive oil and a small selection of local snacks, including fresh bread and feta cheese.

Essential information
The visit to the winery involves a certain amount of walking, over mainly flat ground, with some steps and gravel. There are around 13 steps to negotiate to visit the winery’s museum and a steep slope heading to the cellar. In the winery, no working machinery will be seen. Participants in the wine tasting must be 18 years and over.
