Discover the many charms of ancient Koper’s well-preserved Old Town, on a guided walk.
This enticing guided stroll through the town’s narrow streets takes in Venetian-era architecture and brings local traditions to life. Your knowledgeable local guide will take you to the upper level of town to see the picturesque town centre, Titov Square. It’s home to the 15th-century Praetorian Palace and the Cathedral of St Mary's Assumption, Slovenia’s largest. Following the cobbles down to Mud Gate, you’ll visit a tavern in an old salt warehouse and sample a glass of local Slovenian wine, accompanied by snacks. Then wander through a rich collection of Slovenian contemporary history at the Koper Regional Museum.
