Lose yourself on a guided walk through the well-preserved Venetian-style medieval lanes in the ancient port of Piran. Rising from the water’s edge to the lofty cathedral, they’re filled with highlights including Tartini Square, Venetian Palace and the 1614 Cathedral of St George. After riding past the famous saltpans of Selcovlje, you’ll arrive in hilltop Padna, a lovely village known for its exceptional wine and olive oil. Stroll through the town’s many charms, and sample traditional Istrian foods from the farmers’ stalls lining the streets, while local musicians entertain with lively Slovenian folk music.
