Experience Details*

Discover the dark history of Stiftelsen Arkivet, a former Gestapo headquarters that became known as the House of Horror because of its reputation for extreme physical and psychological violence.

The shocking history of the building is laid bare on a chilling and heart-wrenching tour of the prison cells and torture chambers in the basement, recreated to resemble their former state in the war.

At the Kristiansand Cannon Museum, see the large battery cannon built by the Germans to defend the coastline – the only complete 380mm calibre Kruppcannon still surviving.
