Soak up Timanfaya National Park’s spectacular landscapes and try a BBQ made on a volcano.
After riding through a string of whitewashed villages you’ll take a panoramic drive around the island’s volcanoes in Timanfaya National Park. Stop for photos throughout this stunning lunar-like landscape to see colourful rock formations, amazing lava structures, and caves and craters created by lava flows.
Continue to Jardin de Cactus, the last great work of Cesar Manrique in Lanzarote. This fascinating creation houses around 4,500 specimens of cactus from five continents.
Then enjoy a volcano BBQ, cooked by heat just below the surface, in El Diablo on Fire Mountain. This restaurant, in one of César Manrique’s impressive buildings, offers 360-degree panoramas of the park’s rugged landscapes. Afterwards, visit the geologically fascinating El Golfo and taste the wines at La Geria’s wine cellars.
