The entire mystical estate is filled with mysterious religious symbolism and strolling its grounds is a magical experience.
As you wander through the atmospheric surroundings of this early 20th-century estate, your guide will bring it to life with tales about the colourful history and its former occupants, including the Viscountess of Regaleira. During your journey keep an eye on the gothic turrets and expertly carved stone gargoyles, and watch for references to the Knights Templar, Masons and dark alchemy.

Essential information
There is approximately, 2 hours of walking including uneven and gravel paths and stairs to climb. New transportation regulations in Sintra do not allow motorcoaches into the city center.. Coaches must utilize parking lot outside the city and guests must board a shuttle bus there to enter Sintra city center. The shuttle ride into the city center of Sintra is approximately 30 minutes each way. The shuttle is not exclusive to P&O guests and may be standing area only. There may be wait times for the shuttle in areas without seats or shade. Please note that the shuttle does not have a luggage compartment suitable for storing wheelchairs.
