Scenes of Nadi
Sit back and get a real flavour of the area, with a scenic ride through Nadi town, nearby villages and sugarcane plantations. Located on the western side of Viti Levu Island, Nadi (pronounced nandy) is a popular holiday destination, and the main gateway to the nearby islands.
Riding along Kings Highway, against the picturesque Sleeping Giant mountain range, you’ll see a number of notable landmarks that will be detailed by your knowledgeable guide. When you reach Vuda Lookout, you’ll get a wonderful bird’s-eye view of Port Denarau and the striking isles of Nadi. During your journey, you’ll also see the elaborate and colourful Sri Siva Subramaniya temple – the South Pacific’s largest Hindu temple.
Then you’ll call into the town of Nadi for a spot of retail therapy. After browsing the shops for souvenirs and local crafts, you’ll stop at quaint Vuda Marina for spectacular views of the Pacific, along with a refreshing soft drink, fruit platter & coconut demo skills from your friendly host.
