Cross the Guadalquivir River via the Roman Bridge, enter the town and head to the Great Mosque – a truly magical place. Your local guide will reveal the prettiest parts as you stroll between the ornate arches and columns to discover this breathtaking, bizarre and behemoth piece of art and design.
Wander through the historic La Juderia quarter to admire the flower-filled patios dotted among the atmospheric, winding lanes. And pay a visit to the local synagogue – one of only three remaining in Spain.
Feeling peckish after all that exploring? Relax and enjoy a lunch of provincial flavours at a traditional restaurant and take some free time to spend at your leisure. Perhaps you’ll shop for souvenirs, or simply find a shaded spot to buy a drink and watch the city go by?

There is approximately 2 hours of walking on this excursion, therefore flat comfortable shoes are recommended. The drive to Cordoba is approximately 2½ hours, a stop will be made en route. For Sunday calls the itinerary will operate in reverse order due to services taking place in the Mosque. On Sunday's, an outside visit will be made to the Synagogue.
