Pink Dolphin Encounter
Board a speedboat at the pier and set out on approximately a 90-minute scenic cruise upstream on the Rio Negro. You’re headed to a community on the shores of Lake Acajatuba.
Some years ago, two local girls began feeding the resident and now very famous, pink dolphins from a floating pier. These beautiful cetaceans have since become very accustomed to having human visitors, and are extremely friendly. Today you’ll have the opportunity to see, touch, feed and even swim with the dolphins if you wish.
After your dolphin encounter, check out the village lifestyle as you browse for local handicrafts before returning to the pier by boat.
