Start your scenic drive with a visit to the enchanting fishing village that's one of Malta's largest natural harbours, Marsaxlokk. Continue along the coast road to Zurrieg passing the Blue Grotto and the eerie rock island of Filfla, a sanctuary for migrating birds.
Head inland to the medieval walled town of Mdina, passing through Mosta with its domed church and St Paul's Island, believed to be the site of the apostle's shipwreck. Back in the capital, Valetta, admire stunning harbour views from on high at the fortifications and see the Great Siege Bell, commemorating over 7,000 people who died during the Second World War.
