Kalesa Ride Experience
Climb up into a colourful kalesa and ride this traditional horse-drawn carriage through the ancient city’s treasured streets, exploring Baluerte De San Diego, a spade-shaped fortress that’s part of the Spanish colonial fortifications. Then drive through the ‘Cultural Center of the Philippines Complex’ along Roxas Boulevard, for a peek at the Manila of the Marcoses. You’ll see the Convention Center and Folk Arts Theater, and the amazing Coconut Palace. Then pass the monument to the country's national hero, Dr Jose Rizal, in Rizal Park, and drive through the ‘other side’ of Manila, to Makati, the up-and-coming financial district of this modern metropolis.
