After a short coach transfer, you’ll set off on foot through the narrow streets of Mykonos Town, lined with charming whitewashed houses. Admire Little Venice, said to be one of the most photographed neighbourhoods in Europe, and look out for the iconic windmills that afford a wonderful photo opportunity.
Your walk will take you to a local workshop to discover the ancient art of making mosaics. Meet talented local artist Irene Syrianou, who will show you step by step how small pieces of coloured glass, stones or tiles are carefully pieced together to form unique works of art. You’ll have the opportunity to create your own mosaic to take home as a keepsake.
Your tour will draw to an end with a stroll back through Mykonos Town. Here, you’ll be given the option of either returning to the ship by shuttle bus from the edge of town, or staying to further explore on your own and returning at leisure.
