Take in the fascinating fjord scenery as you reach the glistening Olden Lake to snap some photos of the beautiful landscape. When you get to Briksdal take a leisurely walk through the stunning Briksdal valley. Your target is the awe-inspiring Briksdal Glacier, which is part of the Jostedal Glacier Icefield, the European mainland’s largest glacier. After relaxing with cakes and a coffee or tea, you’ll head back to Nordfjordeid past beautiful Hornidal Lake – Europe’s deepest.

Essential information
The walk to the Glacier is approximately 1½ miles; the first part is quite steep however it becomes flatter in places. Guides will not accompany guests on the walk up to the glacier; meeting instructions will be provided prior to departing for your walk. Please wear comfortable, enclosed walking shoes and carry a bottle of water and a warm jacket. Please heed the warning signs erected near the Glacier and do not venture beyond the safety barriers. The Glacier is not visible from the refreshment venue. This tour involves tunnels. The order of sites may vary.
