Get a taste of Newport's glamorous history and beautiful coastal scenery on this panoramic drive. Pass Trinity Church, based on Christopher Wren's designs, and Redwood Library, believed to be the oldest continuously used library in America. Admire the Gothic-style church of St Mary's, where Jacqueline Bouvier married Senator John F Kennedy in 1953. Then it's on to the world-famous Ten Mile Drive for photos of rugged coastline and sandy beaches. Drive down Bellevue Avenue, where society's millionaires built their famous summer cottages, and stare in amazement at the beautifully restored palatial mansions of the Astors, Vanderbilts and Morgans.

This is purely a sightseeing tour and no stops will be made. The tour duration allows for heavier traffic conditions that can sometimes be experienced along Ocean Drive and Bellevue Avenue. If less traffic is experienced the tour duration may be shorter. Photography is permitted inside the mansions; however, flash, selfie sticks, tripods, and stairway photography are prohibited. Tours of the Preservation Society Mansions (The Breakers, Marble House, The Elms, and Rosecliff) are self-guided audio tours using the Newport Mansions App. Guests must bring their own smart device and earbuds. The official Newport Mansions mobile app (green pineapple icon) is available from your app store. To save time and enhance your visit, guests are strongly encouraged to download the app prior to the cruise. The self-guided audio tour is available in English, French, Spanish, German, and Chinese. The app also provides floor plans, historic photos, and additional house information. Printed house narratives are available at the entrance of each mansion.
