At the heart of the Sagastad experience is the 100-foot-long Myklebust ship, an authentic replica based on the remains of one of the largest Viking ships ever unearthed. Step aboard this majestic vessel and marvel at the relics that were found with it, in what is believed to have been a Viking King’s grave. Through the intriguing displays you’ll find out the theories about this man’s life and death.

Essential information
This is an additional experience that can be added to OL1045 Nordfjordeid On your Own transfer. If the transfer is not booked, guests will be responsible for making their own way to and from Nordfjordeid. There is approximately a 15 minute walk from the transfer drop-off point to the Sagastad Viking centre over flat ground which is both paved and cobblestoned. Flat comfortable shoes and bottled water are recommended.
