Experience Details*

Leaving Colon, you’ll journey for around 90 minutes on the new modern highway connecting the Atlantic to the Pacific to the oldest City in Panama, Panama Viejo, or 'Old Panama'.

On a walking tour, with your guide, you’ll take in the sights and sounds of this historic location and learn the history behind it before entering to the Old Panama Visitor's Centre, where you’ll have the opportunity to see the ruins of the first European settlement on the pacific coast and some of the artifacts that were found on the site.

After this visit, you’ll continue to the Panama Reprosa Museum & Factory, where Panama's ancient civilisations, cultural traditions, and natural treasures come to life in gold and silver. See how the Pre-Hispanic masterpieces are made by the same method as the ancient goldsmiths. Following a video presentation, walk a catwalk to a casting demonstration and try your hand at the sand blasting process. Highly recommended!

After this wonderful day and activity, re-board the bus for a transfer back to the Port.
