Experience eco-friendly family fun at the magical wildlife sanctuary of Parque Biológico de Gaia.
Take a fascinating walk around the Gaia Biological Park, which is a sensational combination of zoo, nature reserve, and botanical garden. Head for the giant dinosaur to start the three-kilometre trail of discovery, into the home of nearly 700 species of plants and animals. Spread over a tranquil sanctuary of 35 acres, you’ll spot a wide variety of native animals such as wild boars, foxes, otters and birds of prey. And the best part? Most are rescue animals. There’s more fun in the Environmental Interpretation Center, with educational exhibits and hands-on interactive activities.
