Essential information
There is a narrow, spiral staircase with 108 steep steps to access the Blarney Stone, however the climb is optional. The kissing of the Blarney Stone is a popular activity and queues may be experienced. The terrain around the Castle is uneven and steep in places. Comfortable, non-slip shoes are recommended. Please remember to carry local currency (Euros).
