A Glimpse of Kuala Lumpur

Make a photo stop at King’s Palace, the Malaysian king’s official residence, and admire the golden domes and beautifully landscaped gardens. Then visit the enormous bronze National Monument, which remembers lost soldiers from the 1950’s communist insurgency. You’ll see the National Mosque and Old Railway Station, before arriving at historic Independence Square, which boasts the charming mock-Tudor British Royal Selangor Club, the Cathedral and the Sultan Abdul Samad Building, which was used by the government during the British era. You’ll also make a photo stop at the soaring Petronas Twin Towers, the world’s tallest building until 2003.
