For old town charms, stroll down the Long Market and enjoy the elegant buildings and lively street life. Look out for the stunning Renaissance-style Town Hall and the 15th-century Merchants' Palace – both beautifully preserved. Seeking quaint shops? Search out Mariacka Street, famous for selling amber. It’s near the imposing St Mary’s Church, a must-see while you’re in the city. And don’t miss St Mary’s Street, often used as a location for period films.
Want to get close to the water? Wander along Long Bridge promenade, with its magnificent buildings and famous wooden crane. Guests are advised when booking this experience 1 adult ticket will include 1 wheelchair-accessible place and 1 companion seat. There are 2 wheelchair spaces available per vehicle so early booking is recommended to avoid disappointment. Should a guest require more than 1 companion seat, please see the on-board Shore Experience team for further availability.
The coach can only accommodate manual and electric wheelchairs with a maximum weight of 180kg (guest and wheelchair combined), a maximum length of 1200mm and a maximum width of 700mm. For guest's own health and safety, regrettably, mobility scooters cannot be accommodated on accessible vehicles.
This tour is unguided and excludes refreshments and entrance fees. City maps will be provided on the coach. Please remember to take local currency. Coaches cannot be held for latecomers, so please listen carefully for the pick-up time and place. The transfer time to Gdańsk is approximately one hour. The local currency is Zlotys – this is not carried on board but can be obtained at banks and ATM’s. Euros and credit cards are also widely accepted. Depending on where coaches can drop off on the day, there may be a walk of up to 500 metres from the coach parking area to the town centre.
