Nature lovers – set sail and see puffins in their natural habitat. Board a charming wooden-style boat for your puffin-watching adventure and head out from Reykjavik to nearby islands. Your knowledgeable guide will keep you entertained with interesting facts about the Atlantic Puffin. Get great views of these engaging birds as the specially-designed boat brings you as close as possible to the rocky shoreline. The islands are also home to fulmars, cormorants, eider ducks, black guillemots, lesser-backed gulls and black-headed gulls. Watch them preening, flying and fishing in their natural habitat, with spectacular seascapes all around. Have your camera ready!

Essential information
This tour is non-exclusive to P&O Cruises. guests are advised that while every effort will be made to sight puffins, these animals are in their natural habitat and sightings cannot be guaranteed. The coach transfers to and from the pier take approximately 15 minutes each way. There are 2 steps to negotiate to board the boat. While there are sufficient seats for everyone on the boat, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to sit in the area of your choice (either inside or on the open deck); only half of the boat is sheltered. A warm, windproof jacket is recommended. Wear warm, waterproof clothing with appropriate footwear (closed-toe shoes/boots with a non-slip or rubber sole).
