Discover the historic coastal town of Civitavecchia and soak up an enchanting recital of traditional Italian music.
From the imposing Michelangelo's Fortress at the waterfront to the pretty ‘Church of Death’ with its Baroque bell tower, you’ll admire many of the town’s ancient landmarks. Strolling through the cobbled streets in areas such as the Ghetto district and Piazza Leandra, spot the influences of the many civilisations and social groups that have affected the town over the last two millennia.
Once at Church St. Giovanni, you'lll be treated to a 30-minute concert of Italian music featuring famous opera pieces, bel canto and Roman songs.

This tour is predominately on foot over cobbled, uneven and inclined surfaces. Flat, comfortable walking shoes are recommended. Guests who choose to stay in town are responsible for making their own way back to the ship by shuttle bus or taxi.
