An opportunity to discover the heart of Saguenay and the Chicoutimi districts.
A visit to the Fjord Museum provides a fascinating insight into the Saguenay waterway that is deeply chiselled through the Laurentian Mountains, and showcases the creation of the fjord.

A self-guided visit will be made at the historic old paper mill, which is a National Historic Site of Canada, located in a partially forested valley on the Chicoutimi River. The pulp mill once belonged to the Compagnie de Pulpe de Chicoutimi, which mechanically transformed wood into paper pulp to meet the demand of European markets at the beginning of the 20th century.

Experience an insight into local life with a visit to Le Chevrier du Nord, a small family-run business that raises Angora goats and produces mohair wool products.
