A voyage of discovery along the magnificent coast of Green Spain – by land and by boat.

Listening to local stories and legends, you’ll visit three charming coastal villages. Stroll through the bustling streets in the tourist town of Laredo, and wander through the narrow lanes of charming Castro Urdiales, with its distinctive medieval balconies. Time permitting, you’ll have some free time to explore on your own. From seafaring Santoña, said to be where Columbus’ Santa Maria was built, you’ll hop aboard a boat and glide along the natural beauty of the bay. Whilst on board, you can sample the traditional, savoury delicacy – sobaos, accompanied by sweet wine.

Please note this tour involves approximately 2h of walking and standing, with  some steps, uneven and slippery ground to negotitate. Comfortable shoes and warm clothing are recommended.
