Experience Details*

Sit back, relax and hear stories of the historic city and beautiful countryside on a panoramic journey through Stavanger and the surrounding areas.

Pass by the striking monument to the 872 battle of Hafrsfjord, where three 33-foot-tall bronze swords plunge into rocks on the coastline, and admire the 12th century Sola Ruin Church.

As you approach Eiganes you’ll drive by pretty villas and past Ledaal Manor, the King’s Stavanger residence. Stop off at the popular waterside Hummeren hotel for coffee and a waffle, then enjoy the scenic drive back to the city. Take a look at the medieval cathedral which overlooks the buzzing Market Square and catch a glimpse of the old town, where 18th century wooden houses illuminate the streets in various vibrant colours.
