Take the unmissable chance to cruise through one of the most awe-inspiring regions in the Norwegian Fjords and marvel at the majestic Pulpit Rock.
Glide leisurely along the serene Lysefjord, a waterway surrounded by some of Norway’s wildest scenery. Gaze up at the sheer mountains climbing to the sky either side of you, admire the waterfalls that thunder down from above and spot the occasional dwelling on the craggy terrain. Along the way you’ll stop at a local restaurant to tuck into freshly made waffles washed down with tea and coffee.
The highlight of this special experience is the chance to see Preikestolen, better known as the Pulpit Rock. Behold the famous flat-topped rock formation that rises vertically from the mountainside to a height of almost 2,000 feet above you.

Essential information
There is a 100 yard walk over flat terrain to access the boats. Various sized boats will be used for this excursion. There are 2 flights of stairs between the decks on the boat. Whilst there are sufficient seats for everyone on the boat, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to sit in the area of your choice (either inside or on the open deck). A warm, windproof jacket is recommended. The Pulpit Rock is situated approximately 1,968 feet above sea level and therefore appears smaller when viewed from below. As various boats are used they berth in different places. Guests must disembark the boat for the refreshments and there is some uneven terrain. The furthest dock from the ship is a 15 minute walk each way. Please speak to the team onboard if you have concerns about walking this distance.
