Essential information

There is an 800m walk over flat terrain to access the boat on the other side of the pier in Stavanger. The walkway to get on board is very narrow and steep, so this tour is not accessible or comfortable for people with difficulty walking. Whilst there are sufficient seats for everyone on the boat, we cannot guarantee that you’ll be able to sit in the area of your choice (either inside or on the open deck). A warm, windproof jacket is recommended. The Pulpit Rock is situated approximately 1,968 feet above sea level and therefore appears smaller when viewed from below. This tour is not recommended for guests who suffer from seasickness or those with mobility problems. Guests must be able to negotiate steps into/off the boat. There will be a limited commentary providing information about the various points of interest, including Preikestolen, better known as the Pulpit Rock. The distance between the cruise ship and the tour boat can vary depending on where the boat is berthed. Please speak to the team on board if you have concerns about walking this distance. Pre-booking is highly recommended due to limited availability. This tour is not exclusive to P&O Cruises. Guests will be given a voucher to exchange for a refreshment break.
